All new Traktor products available soon
For those eager to get their hands on Native Instruments DJ Kit and don’t want to pay the ridiculous price they’re going for on eBay at the moment, the wait is almost over. NI are soon to release the next generation of Traktor products.
There will be updated versions of the Audio 4 DJ and Audio 8 DJ audio interfaces (now called Audio 6 and Audio 10) as well as updates to the massively popular Traktor Scratch software.
So what can we expect?
Well, the software GUI has been polished a little, with a more intuitive coloured waveform display as well as sample decks, a loop recorder and four new effects: Tape Delay, Ramp Delay, Bouncer and Auto Bouncer.
Hardware-wise, there will be more inputs / outputs as well as a more informative LED display
The full Traktor 2 range will be available worldwide from 1st April 2011. More info on the Native Instruments website
Look out for a review here shortly after its release.
In the meantime, check out Q-Bert, Shiftee and Rafik putting Traktor 2 through its paces.
